Hot in Texas.

I just got back from Texas and it was very hot there. This picture really helps me cool off. I miss snow. I hope to play more tennis. The cool nights in Denver would be perfect for tennis. I walked 6 miles in the evening. I am going straight to bed. :)

An Alta Wedding and desert sandstone

I am posing in Hildalgo N.L., Mex. I am rocking the cowboy hat and in the top left corner is El Torro. A mountain at El Potrero Chico. This picture was taken in January 2007.

Recently I went to Tom and Katie Love's wedding. The ceromony was at beautiful Alta. Later I will load photos to show how beautiful their wedding was. I climbed once in Joe's Valley, L.C.C. and Price Canyon. We rafted the Colorado river, which allowed me time to ponder The Titan's Finger of Fate route. I camped on the La Sal loop road and at Hunter's Canyon.

Tonight I managed to sneak outside for 4 routes at Hurd Creek. It was a perfect evening. The flowers are blooming, the temperature was perfect, and the company was enjoyable. Tomorrow morning I am climbing with Fernando and maybe some other friends. And I move into my new apartment!

Working Man

This is an awesome pics of a BALLA! Fernando is the climber on the Kor-Ingalls Route, Grade III 5.9 380 ft. This picture was taken in the Fall of 2009. Five stars for rocking out with the peace signs hundreds of feet away from the ground.

Today I took it easy in the AM. I worked all afternoon and evening. Then I met some buddies at the Southern Sun. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend a day, at least a work day.

Life is Wonderful

The picture above is from the Fall of 2008? probably, but I am certain the climbers are Virginia and Matt. The Climb is Scar Face in Indian Creek, Utah.

Today I climbed King of the Mountain III 5.13a 600ft with Jim. Jim reminded me at the end of the day that I hang dogged on the 5.10c 2nd pitch, becuase it was a sandbag at the grade. Well at least for the onsight, in my opinion. I struggled hard on the fourth pitch, the crux. I held on to all of the holds but could not link it even on top rope. So i will have to go back and climb all 600ft again without falling. A new project!

For the sunset I longboarded the fraser river trail, the usual. Yesterday I did a hike in the forest. I am so excited to see Taisa on Friday in Salt Lake City Utah!

Time flies

Hi everyone! I am in Winterpark now. I am working in Northglenn. And I am trying to climb as well as I may. That is a picture from Lone Eagle Peak in 2005. The Climber is Weston Boyles. The route is an alternative to the Standard North Face Route on Lone Eagle Peak in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This weekend I am planning on climbing the same route with several friends. Hopefully we don't find too much snow.

1st Post!

Yay! I have a Blog. Well I have been considering this for a while and I think you guys will appreciate a better glimpse into my world. So right now I have been going through uncertainty about where I will be living in July. Taisa is accepted to Medical School in Mass and Co. Until today she only had one responsible choice because of the cost of tuition. But today she received a voice mail message from the Admissions Dean for the CU Med school offering her a scholarship! I guess I might not need to get a Mass driver's license today after all, but I will still go to Yoga tonight. I have been setting routes all week, working with youth programs, and last night I had a fun bouldering session with Nick and Ian. Tomorrow I am going to North Conway with Taisa and Yanet.

And here is some eye candy from my recent trip to Oahu:
